Safe Grip Anti Slip Strips Solves Slippery Ramp Issue
Since 1982, The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre (FVCDC) has provided services to enhance the quality of life for children with developmental needs. FVCDC is operated by the non-profit Fraser Valley Child Development (1982) Society and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The Mission Office has an external concrete ramp which surface over the years became smoother and slippery, especially during the winter months when some ice formation is also expected.
They contacted Tile Safe Products, which company is building an excellent reputation throughout North America for providing a “one stop surface safety shop” for a wide range of sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions to address identified floor and other surface safety issues.
Tile Safe had proposed the Safe Grip Anti-Slip strips to be applied over the ramp. The product was suggested for the nominated areas due to its proven outstanding and sustainable slip resistive quality and suitability to the environment. The Safe Grip product requires low maintenance and provides highly slip resistive surface combined with a long useful life.
The project has completed and management is so satisfied with the outcome that they have decided to promote the company on their web site home page www.fvcdc.org .
In line with Tile Safe’s Community and Charity policy, the company has also donated 10 percent of the work value to the development centre. This donation is available to any non profit religious and other community based organisations when Tile Safe and its approved floor and other surface safety products are installed.
Management also noted that the Tile Safe team not only made the ramp safe to use, but also improved the overall aesthetical appearance.
